Today is the first Sunday of the NFL season! Whoop whoooop! I am so bummed I am going to miss my beloved Ravens’ first game because of work, but I will be following along with the ESPN app. I am hoping for a great season!!!
I will be wearing out my deep purple scarf this season for sure. It’s already starting to feel like fall here in Texas and I am so ready for cooler weather! Even if your team isn’t the Ravens, I have the scarf for you! Even our rivals, the Steelers 😉
Check out my shop for even more colors for your team!
My husband and I began our Saturday morning getting up early and watching the sunrise by the pool. I love watching the sun come up! It’s a beautiful day and we are headed to the farmers’ market. It seems it will be a relaxing and lazy Saturday and I am absolutely okay with that. It’s a perfect day for my market bag tote!
What’s your favorite relaxing thing to do on a lazy Saturday?
My favorite piece of clothing has evolved to scarves. I am obsessed with adding a scarf to my outfit, and I am not a fan of the hot weather in Texas preventing me from wearing my favorite article of clothing until much later in the year. Though I am anticipating that I won’t be able to wear scarves much this fall/winter, I am still obsessed with making them. I love trying out new colors (see previous post :D). Here are some of the autumn scarves I have made that I am in LOVE with (and they are absolutely PERFECT for fall!), and head to my shop to find other awesome colors!
I am SO EXCITED for fall! Usually I don’t get this excited for fall any other year, but maybe this Texas heat is finally getting to me. I can’t wait for it to be LESS hot…
Or maybe I am just excited for a color change. I am all into burgundy, deep purple, and burnt orange. The burnt orange may also be Texas getting to me; either way, I am loving it this year!!! I have been busy making scarves for my Etsy shop orders, but I am also trying out new fall colors for infinity scarves. I am hoping to make some other things with these fall colors too, so stay tuned!
I am also beginning to search Pinterest for pumpkin recipes. YUM!!!! I can’t wait to make a pumpkin spice roll, Old Bay pumpkin seeds, pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and I’m sure I will come up with more pumpkin flavored recipes that my husband will for sure get tired of… But for now, nothing can kill my autumn buzz!
What is your favorite thing about autumn?
So I have been pretty busy focusing on my getting my Etsy shop back up after moving and getting up social media sites for Caught on a Hook. Well, I now have another outlet: Caught on a Hook is now on Facebook! Whoop whoop! I will be keeping you posted on Facebook on things I am working on and what is going on with me. I am more prone to check Facebook more than anything else since like the rest of my generation, I may be addicted… So come like me on Facebook! I am so excited to post the crocheting process and what I’m doing for the fall!
I have added a new item to my Etsy shop! I am absolutely OBSESSED with this yarn! I love Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn! It is the softest acrylic yarn I have ever worked with, and I love using it for infinity scarves. This scarf is also my favorite, but I am also biased that it is all multicolored blue hues (I can’t stop buying blue yarn…). I am ready for fall to begin!
I am now in Instagram! Come follow me at caughtonahook on the app! I will be sharing pictures of what I’m working on and new items. I’ve been working on some new items that will be up on my Etsy shop soon. I am SO excited for fall and I am crocheting away getting ready! Check out my page for fall items!
Here’s a sneak peek…
